About TechnicoFlor
TechnicoFlor is a family-owned French fragrance house based in Allauch, Provence, founded in the early 1980s by François-Patrick Sabater. It remains family-run today, now led by the second generation.
The company works strictly B2B — it designs compositions for brands and for perfume and cosmetics manufacturers, and does not sell finished consumer perfume. Its team of around 230 includes 14 perfumers, and it is present in more than 70 countries.
Its clearest differentiator is a focus on responsible formulation and natural compositions. It developed FlorIndex, its own eco-rating tool that scores the environmental impact of a fragrance formula — a real asset if your brand story is built on sustainability or clean beauty.
TechnicoFlor also acquired Azur Fragrance, a Grasse fragrance house, and built its plant to France's HQE green-building standard, with a green roof and rainwater collection.
